I grew up in Fulham and recently graduated from Oxford University with a degree in English. I am now based in Brixton, working as an actress, writer and private tutor. I have babysat children of a range of ages since my teens and I tutor pupils from the ages of five to eighteen, so I have lots of one on one experience with children.
My main interests are in theatre, film and literature. My experience with tutoring means I am happy to assist children with homework (I can be hired as a professional tutor from the agency Bonas Macfarlane). I am accomplished in French and Spanish (to GCSE and A-Level standard respectively). I enjoy cooking and am at ease with all pets.
I have experience babysitting children from the age of eight weeks until the age of fourteen. I am happy to look after children at any time of day (since I don't have a regular 'day job') and have babysat toddlers under the age of two including taking them for walks, feeding them and putting them down to nap. I also have overseen larger groups of children in a Sunday School.
The Screening Process
In order to join BOKAC, applicants must ensure they meet our criteria, in particular, they must have solid babysitting experience (see Become a babysitter for details).
The company’s founder, Anna Cameron, meets each candidate to discuss their childcare experience in detail as well as establish they are reliable and responsible individuals.
Babysitters can only join on provision of two references: one from a current or previous employer and one from someone they currently or have previously babysat for.
