Having graduated from Durham University in 2011, I shortly afterwards moved to London and have since been working for a Lloyd's Insurance Broker. I consider myself to be a friendly, helpful and reliable person. I am keen to get involved with babysitting after work during the week and some weekends too.
I am interested in sports and keeping fit, regularly going to the gym and swimming. I love catching up with friends and meeting new people. I have a love for dogs and having been a chalet girl, several years ago, have a liking for baking/cooking!
Having done Camp America in NY as part of my Gap Year, where I was surrounded by children (aged 6-16) all day, every day for 2 months, I feel I can safely say I have a great deal of experience in looking after children and enjoy being around them.
I have also worked at other summer camps and babysat for families in my local area on numerous occasions.
"I have known Emily Reid for many years. 100% trustworthy, reliable, beautiful manners, sensible. Would highly recommend her. Played lots of board games with the children, which they loved!"
The Screening Process
In order to join BOKAC, applicants must ensure they meet our criteria, in particular, they must have solid babysitting experience (see Become a babysitter for details).
The company’s founder, Anna Cameron, meets each candidate to discuss their childcare experience in detail as well as establish they are reliable and responsible individuals.
Babysitters can only join on provision of two references: one from a current or previous employer and one from someone they currently or have previously babysat for.
