I am 27 and live in South Kensington. I work for a small start up food brand called G'NOSH which is based in Shepherds Bush. I studied philosophy at Edinburgh University, and during the Summer's I worked as a nanny both in the UK and abroad. I love cooking and also held workshops for children and parents for the charity Kids Company. I have extensive babysitting experience in the London area.
I love cookery and have trained at Ballymaloe Cookery School. I have also recently completed a nutrition course at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition which enables me to make wise food choices both for myself (and any children I'm looking after!).
I have worked as a nanny for 2 families during University Summer holidays, for a few months at a time. I have experience with children aged 2 + but am confident with younger ones. I love reading, games, cooking and being outside! I have experience with both boys and girls, and I have extensive experience with a girl of 5 with Downs Syndrome, so I am confident in that area.
The Screening Process
In order to join BOKAC, applicants must ensure they meet our criteria, in particular, they must have solid babysitting experience (see Become a babysitter for details).
The company’s founder, Anna Cameron, meets each candidate to discuss their childcare experience in detail as well as establish they are reliable and responsible individuals.
Babysitters can only join on provision of two references: one from a current or previous employer and one from someone they currently or have previously babysat for.
